GHAF is an annual big air kitesurfing competition. Riders from across the region gather to push limits, fly higher, and compete in the most spectacular discipline in kitesurfing.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or an ambitious amateur — there's a place for you here. The competition runs across four categories, with qualified judging and full safety setup.
Open to all male riders with competitive big air experience. 3 judged runs, best score counts.
Open to all female riders with competitive big air experience. 3 judged runs, best score counts.
For recreational riders who want to compete. No prior competition experience required.
Open to riders under 18 years old. Parental consent required. Safety first.
Malibu Beach in Mui Ne is one of Southeast Asia's premier wind corridors — a flat-water bay backed by red sand dunes, delivering consistent NE trade winds from November through April. The natural geography creates a steady 18–28 knot window with sideshore direction, ideal for big air. Setup includes a deep-water launch zone, safety boat cover, and a panoramic beachfront for spectators. The Kitenam school has been running this spot for over a decade.
